Depending on the country and agency, fees can vary dramatically, and given the expensive nature of adoption, many people are left behind in the adoption process.

Since the Kay Foundation has no employees or overhead, this allows us flexibility in how many adoptions and at what level are funded. Funding availability varies based upon need, not all applications will be granted financial aid.

If you seek financial aid for your adoption and would like to apply to the Kay Foundation adoption assistance grant, please send a pre-application letter with the following information and please try to limit your response to one page:

  • Names and ages of all family members living in the house
  • Address and phone number
  • How will adopting a child enhance your family?
  • Where are you in the adoption process
  • Occupation(s)
  • Financial assistance reasons (ie: why, how much, timeframe, etc)

After a review of your pre-application letter, we will contact you about the next steps. This may involve a background check, financial review and in some cases, a home visit. Please remember, this is a family foundation with limited means – we review each application carefully and prayerfully.
