ABOUT THE KAY FOUNDATION

Over 30 years ago Neal and Penny Kay made the life changing decision to adopt five children from Korea and Vietnam and as a result, the basic philosophy of the Kay Foundation was created.  It was out of their personal desire to positively impact the lives of children in need that Neal and Penny began setting aside funds to create The Kay Foundation, giving donations to establish schools in Africa, support eye care centers in Africa, and providing much needed academic support to schools in low income areas here in the US.

Through it all, the Neal and Penny Kay never wavered in their commitment to adoption, helping over 15 families in the past 20 years welcome children in loving homes. The Kay Foundation is fully committed to helping families open their hearts and homes to children in need of a safe home and a loving family. It is out of this commitment that The Kay Foundation provides financial support for adoption to families who are selected by Kay Foundation board and founders.

The Kay Foundation is a not for profit foundation managed wholly by members of the Kay family. Due to our experiences as adopted individuals and parents going through the adoption process, we have a unique perspective on adoption and what is required, financially and emotionally. It is a blessing to us that we can use that experience to help, guide, and lend support to others.
